Digital Footprints are the trails we leave behind when we use the internet. There are numerous advantages and disadvantages when it comes to digital footprints, but we will be focusing on the disadvantages as I believe digital footprints can be a huge problem.
Digital footprints are easily traceable if you know how and where to look, it's not that difficult. The footprints can be traced to numerous things under your name. This can lead to fraud as people can access your banking details. People can also be monitoring you, slowly gathering your information. You could even have your identity stolen if someone traces your footprints. (Ludovice , 2013)
